The 32-year-old defender leaves Stamford Bridge after winning nine trophies in nine years with the Blues. A statement published on Zenit's official website said the two clubs had agreed the switch, for an undisclosed fee, of a player whose contract was due to expire at the end of the season. Ivanovic made 376 appearances in all competitions for Chelsea since his arrival in 2008, and won the Premier League title twice, the  FA Cup  three times, the  Champions League  - although he missed the 2012 final due to suspension - and the  Europa League  with the Blues. Zenit St Petersburg have confirmed Chelsea defender Branislav Ivanovic has joined the club on a two-and-a-half-year deal. The Serbia international has long been linked with a move away from Stamford Bridge, having found himself down the pecking order with the Blues since the arrival of manager Antonio Conte. Having moved to Chelsea back in January 2008, Ivanovic has gone on to win the Champions League, Europa League, two Premier League titles, three FA Cups and one League Cup. Following his nine-year spell in London, the 32-year-old is now set for a new challenge in Russia, with Zenit delighted to have acquired the veteran defender's services.
