BREAKING - ZENITH CONFIRMS IVANOVIC SIGNING
Zenit St Petersburg have confirmed Chelsea defender Branislav Ivanovic has joined the club on a two-and-a-half-year deal.
The Serbia international has long been linked with a move away from Stamford Bridge, having found himself down the pecking order with the Blues since the arrival of manager Antonio Conte.
Having moved to Chelsea back in January 2008, Ivanovic has gone on to win the Champions League, Europa League, two Premier League titles, three FA Cups and one League Cup.
Following his nine-year spell in London, the 32-year-old is now set for a new challenge in Russia, with Zenit delighted to have acquired the veteran defender's services.
A statement on the Zenit official website read: "The blue-white-sky blues are delighted to welcome Branislav Ivanovic to St. Petersburg and were sure he will be a huge success at Zenit!"
